Default Remote controls

Is it possible to buy new replacment remote controllers as my "nearest and dearest" has just decided to spill hot chocolate over 3 of them?

I'm guessing there gonna be knackered as the hot chocolate is literally running out of them

I'll need a new Sky remote so getting one from Tesco will be easy enough, plus a Toshiba remote for the tv and an Onkyo remote for my amp. I'm sure the tv one is goosed at least as when thats got the batteries in, the tv starts going mental, changing channels, adjusting volume etc on its own

We've not got anywhere as such to dry them out other then leaving em on the coffee table or kitchen side etc as we've not got an airing cupboard as such.

it will go potty all the while the liquid is in there (shorting it), thats actually a good sign as most likely nothing is fried (yet).
Unscrew it, rinse it with water (batteries out obv) then leave it to dry.

Chances are it will be okay.

If not, get an all-in-one remote, job jobbed

why dont you get a all in one remote

i used to have a cambridge audio m1 about £30 and now have the harmon kardon version about £130 both are superb and run everything from dimming lights, electric curtains plus all the usual remotes you would use in the home.

If money's no object, buy a 'PocketPC' PDA and install NEVO software.
