Rolling roads run cars in different gears??

And why would car which runs fine on the open road be rich on the rollers??

The idea is to get the drive as close as 1:1 as possible which is ussually 4th gear.

It may run rich as it is not getting the air it would driving around and the cooling effects are greater on the road.

first time we took the mk3 to motorscope they ran it in 3rd & wouldnt run it in 4th didnt get the result we were looking for but got it ran in 4th on diffrent rollers & all was well

Strange arn't they ment to be calibrated to a iso standard

Where would be the fun in that? How would we argue about it later if they were all the same?

Wonder if the ASS dyno would have to get ISO accreditation too?
