200 motorsport block
I read somewhere( cant remember where ) that you can get motorsport 200 blocks.
How do you identify them ? no core plug in the back ?

I think if i remember it is the core plug missing at the back, DON'T quote me though, but i'm 65%

what makes the motorsport version better ?

Reference to one forsale here mate, says it has no core plug, so i'd imagine would obviously be stronger given the fact that errrrrrr there's no hole in it!

Yeah it's pretty good, I plan to buy one next year when i have actually finished my car
Just as a spare, not too easy to get hold of a good one at the moment.

I always thought that the motorsport blocks came with unfinished bores (ie not bored/honed for "standard" pistons), and that ALL the "aftermarket" blocks came without the core plug in the back face.

i thoght they were just 200 blocks with some work done 2 them like no oilf filter mount??
