Default Fta Phone Gurus Help

right where do i start
had a phone for xmas a sony ericcson K800i which is a pay as you go phone after 6 weeks of using the phone it stopped sending and recieving text maessages so rang up ORANGE help line got put on hold for mega time as always to get some non brittish person which dont help at all anyway she told me try this then this but still no look so they came to the conclusion there was a problem with the signal

so went back to using my old phone samsung D500 which worked no problems

so this week we had off did a bit of decorating found the phone in the box so thought lets give it a try same thing so rang ORANGE again got someone speaking proper english who was very very helpfull anyway turns out the phone broke no good kerput so got to take the phone back to argos problem is have no reciept what are the chances of getting it changed or what other options have i got any help would be much appreciated

i think your screwed if you dont have the receipt, that phone could be from anywhere

i know thats what i thought problem is its £90 worth just sat in its box the mrs think she might have the credit card monthly statement do you think that will do

if its got ARGOS on it maybe, if its got ARGOS AND the branch name/number then id say theres a good chance, i mean they cant say no if its printed in black and white infront of them.

send the mrs in and make sure the cashier is a male aswell, to up your chances of refund even more

lost the reciept for my eldests faulty ipod took it back swapped it no probs as it has argos sticker on the box,you should have no problems mate.

the phone has a serial no. etc and they SHOULD have records of phones sold n where so u may be ok ,
as for credit card statement aslong as u can prove u brought it there then they cannot dispute it , they may say u will have to send it to the company to see y its broke or if its repairable , then for the sake of £90 they might not bother but 1st find summit to prove u got it @ argos
