"Ag's car is nothing special for a track car."
That is the quote of the centuary
This car that is nothing special is the car that stops whole crowds of people at a time just so they can have a look.
Go to any track Andy is on and tell the other guys racing him that his car is nothing special and see what they say
I have watched him go from last on the grid to first within 3 laps at Knockhill in this car that aint anything special

AGs car is a track car,i honestly dont think they did anything special, they used techniques that have been available for years and used an engine thats nothing spectacular.
simple really, spaceframe chassis have been around for a long time and so have the cosworth YB engines,AG himself might be a mighty driving god but that doesnt make his car any better in my eyes.
whereas a forum for fast road cars really should be looking at the road car scene for inspiration, cars that perform well time after time as a road car and dont explode

For fear of looking like a typical Scottish person jumping on the AG bandwagon.... i HAD to pick up on some of the shit you have been spouting here;
Yet you drive a poverty spec, stone age volvo with a welded diff and consider yourself a "drifta"
The AG car is an awesome feat of engineering, fast, different, brilliant looking, its got everything you'd want in a track car. If you can't see that you are either very blinkered or very stupid!
As for that statement, WTF
no ELE is a ROAD car, proven time and time again to be quick at EVERY event its EVER been too, always in the top cars, never been let down by angine or box or diff or anything else failure!!!!!!!!!!!!! NEVER!!!think about that!then think its got a mint body, then think its got a full interior with a nice stereo and was built HOW long ago???and its a ROAD car
now.AGs car,ok its quick,BUT......its a track or race car first and foremost, nothing else,NEVER used on road.so....................its fast, but others have been faster, its quick at accelerating.....but others have done better, its quick around a track.......but others with the same budget are doing FAR better......its not special in my eyes,as a track car id want something more special, but for a road car id want something that NEVER breaks and ALWAYS puts in times of the top hitters over 10-15 YEARS!!!!!!!!!!
so to me yes!!!ELE far out ranks AGs car

in fact, give the mclaren f1 team a MONTH to make a car on the same budget, then race
AG will lose!
AG will lose!

2:i dont call myself a drifter, i have attended ONE event in my life and was very thorough in my description of myself as a learner!
so,please dont get upset,or please quote me on anything you have said!
i am merely saying that YES AGs car is fast,but.......its nothing amazingly special!a 1980s touring car spec rs500 would no doubt be close to his track times
