Default 330x330 brakes

Hi is it safe to use 6 pot 330mm fronts and 4 pot 330mm rear disks,
without any major braking issues or will I need an uprated bias valve. Is this a safe set up or am I better of going a smaller disc size on the rear?

I'm sure I read on other posts about fitting 4pots to the rear that it depends what car its on. 4x4 is ok but 2wd need a bias valve to prevent the rear trying to locking up to easily. On a Cosworth that is.
