Default Toad AI606 quick question

Ok when the car has been disarmed/unlocked for a while, when you want to start it what do you do?
Only way ive found so far is turning the ignition on, then press the button, then turn the ignition back off and on again but surly theres an easier/quicker way?
On my old clifford all i had to do was turn the ignition on all the way, then press the button once and then it would start.

All you have to do is turn the ignition to position 2(run) press ARM button and it will reset the immobilser, allowing the igntion lights to come back on and then to start.
If it does not do this I would check where he has taken the power feed(igntion from), on my C5T2, I have to re-arm dis-arm thing but it is on a vauxhall with no accesssory live from the ignition switch.
