dont know what i've done but i've lost sound from my realtek speakers.....all i get is a very dull sound and it wont turn up or down.....(last week i had the pc down stairs without printer,speakers etc)....it's only a 2.1 speaker package it has two leads one's a double coming from the 2 speakers and the other has the green plug in end..........i thought i only had to plug the green one in but the sound is fucked............HELP..........cheers Pete

I you have a little speaker in the bottom right near the clock make sure thats ok with no errors and double click on it to open the volume controll and check for mutes and turn everything up.

also check for any realtek utillitys near the clock too and check settings.

if there nothing showing near the clock head into controll panel and look for sound in there.

the sound is only coming from the sub.............lost all sound from the two speakers....i've checked and updated realtek and the icons are on...............

What are they powered by??? the two speakers that is!!

have you tryed them in another device like you Ipod, HiFi, Etc??

can you post the model of the setup your using???

sorted............ffs....................the green goes into the pc tower and the twin speaker goes into the sub............................(it was dark down there........)
