hey mate

there's a few cossies (mainly sierra's) floating round and a RSOC as well, otherwise loads of mk 1 and 2 escorts. I have been over here for 3 years, so not sure what's it's been like recently, although kiwi's love their cars and motorsports generally.

There's a big V8 scene which is probably most popular and people follow the australian supercar series

Eveyone thinks they are a "drifter" out here hahahaha, I have seen one 3 Door on the roads and that was here in Dunedin. Mostly the odd Mk1/2 Escort but normally 4 door ones.

Where are you planning on going for work?

e-mail me if you want any info, I moved out here 3 years ago, personally of you are qualified and want to move for good I would go to Aussie...... barry@databusters.co.uk

Used to live in Auckland. Had my honeymoon around the South Island - would move there in a second if I could find work that would pay like Australia.

Absolutely lovely place - try and aim for Christchurch.

Great people, great pace of life, great roads for petrol heads.

Mind you - Victoria in Australia or Tasmania in Australia almost offer the same lifestyle with better job opportunities. If you are self employed then NZ is your oyster.
