BHP for all st185's was 204bhp. great cars not a lot to worrie about except general wear and tear but these cars are getting old so do need checking over. look for rust worn suspension etc, brake pipes corrode mine bust the day i got it lol. Insurance is pretty cheap mine is currenty insured by mt 21yo Fiancee for about 500 quid. rear diff bushs do go. If its been tuned make sure its had a steel head gasket fitted as they have normal gaskets from the factory and do go if its running too much boost. They are an heavy car even the light weight is heavy.

On the good side they do handle really well but standard 0-60 is about 7 secs so not that fast but do shift ok once moving.

Visit www.gt4oc.com loads of info here

Ive got a 1990 widebody GT4 A had it since Feb and spent alot on it as it was a shed when i bought it.

For sale by the way Ł1495

Insurance should be very cheap on these.

I got a quote for an ST205 WRC reciently @ Ł550 fully comp, 21 and 3 years NCB, thats compared to Ł890 for a Saph.

I guess they are pretty heavy and being 4wd and only what 200bhp(?) max they are never going to set the tarmac allight. I wanted her to have one because I love Toyota's engines, they seems so good. She wasn't impressed though.
