car wont start, could be for 2 reasons i think
1)my exhaust is now only 2 feet long
2)i left the bonnet open and the heavens opened

now it will JUST about get going,but....the moment i apply throttle it dies,so i thought Air Flow Meter (this is a volvo 740 turbo motor btw) and i put wd40 on it.then watched the flap and moved it a bit and the idle cleared up,now,if i move the flap slightly ahead of where it naturally is as i move the throttle the engine works fine!so the AFM needs to be moving ahead of where it actually is!any ideas?i cant drive AND keep both hands under bonnet!!!
