im with you there jb.my boss used to part own that and the one with the blue at the back and orange at the front.

Stunning car, the ONLY track orientated Escort that I personally like with the standard whaletail etc, such a cool car and it's even cooler because it can perform so well!

Awesome pic, thanks Paul! Love seeing new pics of Gareth's car all the time!

Proper touring car spec with a 7 speed gearbox isn't it? Think he also own's a Ferrari F40 too if I've got the right bloke!

i member that day.. weather was aweful... but for about 20 mins when they changed track layout the cream of the UK modded cars were all on track together and it was just awesome to watch

He beat Andy Barnes' Skyline ISTR - it was noticeable that he hardly slowed for the coned out kink after the straight by pits/grandstand - seemed to pick up quite a bit of time just on that one bit alone

I remember watching him and Steve Scott in his A1 Escort both giving it at go at National Day a few years ago. May have been 2005, some crazy fast white Fiesta got involved in the action too! Was awesome to watch!

Yep. Don't they say that sideways is not the quickest way through a corner? Well, those 800+hp Japanese machines must have been more sideways to be so far off the pace!
