Default changing a rocker cover

ive got to change my rocker cover at the weekend do you just place the rubber cam seals in or do you need to put some sealer on them?

didn't change mine last time i had the rocker cover off. use some sealer where they meet the gasket

I put some sealer on, but don't go nuts - you don't want big pieces going inside the engine.

Blue hylomar or proper silicone sealant for bathrooms

Dip the ends of the half moons in blue hylomar or something similar, don't over do it, you only really need a small amount.
Change rocker cover gasket and fanny's your aunt

Yes, it will mostly likely leak oil if you dont add some hylomar or similar to the end of the halfmoon seals. Dead easy job just be careful to line up the gasket straight so you dont shear it with the bolts.
