Hi guys.
Have just taken the engine apart again cause i blew the headgasket on the freeway here in denmark, @ 7700rpm and 2,1bar
Am trying to find the reason, tho i have some ideas.
Rough Spec is:
Wire rung block
cp pistons
ported head
Drag cams
gt-35
When i took it apart, the ring in the block looked like this

And headgasket like this

I have some ideas, but what do you guys think?

*EDIT*
Just seen the 1st pic (not showing)....
Not sure of failure tbh, looks like the wire ring has shifted out of its groove along with the gasket....dont know why though.

looks like the temps have melted the wire ring then mate, theyre normally only Mig wire anyhow
you could try using a different material wire like ahigh grade steel or possibly stainless?
Cheers
