Default What's the difference between these and standard bushes?

These are Poly rear bushes for a saph, they are identical in design to the front TCA ones only a different size. Anyway, I keep hearing you can't use these at the back, why? I've never had any problems with the fronts on my car.....I realise the rear of the car may see slightly different forces or however you want to put it, but surely this bush isn't THAT bad???

Don't jump down my throat BTW I'm just trying to understand the reason behind the "MYTH" as i have new suspenison arms for my car but no bushes, and I won't bother changing them if i can't get new bushes anymore and the POLY ones are defo shite. Make sense????

Personally after having done over ten sierra's(3 mine) with POLY everywhere including back and beam, I have yet to encounter ANY problem or find anyway at all in which the poly was inferior from any point of veiw.
I did find a better rear set up and the best I have used is std bushes with a GGR axle tightening kit.

because of the angles involved, the rear bushes need to be spherical to allow movement in two planes - poly bushes do not without deforming/wearing

2 planes????
Is the arm not just like a swing arc, it moves when the shock/spring is compressed?

Standard ones all the way Rog unless you go for a fully adjustable beam set up

Those bushes looks like they're for the rear antiroll bar - does that rule also include them?

as already stated the standard rear ones are a zero play zero resistance trick shit spherical joint.
We have sourced this type to fit in the front tca arms and even made them eccentric adjustable to alter camber

Checked my car yesterday, it has Nylon bushes on the back....
Which means it always has since I bought it back in 2001, i took the front ones off when i bought it as it was knocking (turned out to be something else) but still have them, i replaced them with polys at the front.
So I don't think i'll bother changing them to standard items if its a hassle as it seems fine the way it is.
