Default quick internet question

Ive got one phone socket in my room, and an ADSL modem, so obviously ive got the filter into the phone socket, and then into that filter the usb modem and a house phone.

Now my sister is moving back here tonight and shes wants her laptop online, how do we do it? ive not got wireless so thats not an option.

Can i buy an adaptor or something that her laptop can plug into?

you will want a router (probably wireless one) to share the 1 internet connection with multiple machines.

you can only have 1 ADSL device plugged into your phone line

Forgot to mention we have two phone sockets, one upstairs(where the machines will be) and one downstairs if that makes a difference
