What would it do if the 2 outter wires on the tps had been changed to use a 2wd item & then you fitted a 4wd one & not swapped the wire back cos you forgot ?? Would if flame alot ??

P.s. I know to use the other tps you have to swap the wire but never understood why ?? Guessin the range works oppersite for each sensor ??

 

I didnt think it would run at all...well not rev up anyway.....although I stand to be corrected!!!

 

Well mine does

The original engine was on 2wd tps (red one TF01 I think ?) & when I got this engine it was on 4wd tps (black/grey one TF09 i think ?) and only jus realised the wire were swapped for the 2wd tps.

How do I check if they are the right way round ??

If teh signal is inverted it will run leaner than wanted at low throttle positions and vica versa.
