i normaly only go to oulton park for mitsubishi lancer registers end of season track day as its me local track and i've got a evo and used to live right by there, so it was a surprise to see in FAST FORD that they are doing a track day there,last time i remember a ford track day at oulton i think it may of been a TURBOSYSTEMS or COLLINS ENGINEERING customer cars track day and they were good days.
who with a fast cosworth is taking passengers round ?? i don't mind contributing

 

Well i defo won't be there, my Field Motorsport Quaiffe diff'd box could take the abuse to day and blew up, did manage to get 74miles knocked up before it happened, not overly happy as the box last 200 miles :-(:-(:-(

but i am a ford enthusiast..........just havent got a ford i would trust round oulton park.........also surely it would be nice to see some fords showing up some different marques on track-the odd evo,impreza or M3?

i agree there will probably be some brake downs but with fast ford orgonising it for the mag there isnt much point letting other makes on track

There are quite a few race circuits that seem to be over zealous with their low noise requirements.

Many of these circuits have been there for many years,then you get the new neighbour from Hell move onto the nearby housing estate and squeal to the Council that they can hear Race cars.

The councils being the mean little S***s that they are enforce a noise abatement order on the circuit.

Why move into an area knowing there is a race circuit there,if they want to know what noise is go to somewhere like Brixton.

At Goodwood the residual house prices went up because of the Historic Circuit being there,then because of the new resident clowns living in Lavant who complained about noise,the DCB levels had to come down.

Most of these complaining little Hitlers are the ones who get paid by the Council to act as Traffic Wardens and Speed Trap volunteers.

What I say is to strap them to a Special Saloon,preferably underneath and take them for a lap or two.

LOL at Blacky about the ford rs track days.You go to a ford show/track day and all you see on the track is well non fords.Blacky i think your gonna have a queue of people waiting to go in the van.
