Some of you will know this car from previous passionford meets and ever since he took me out in it i was really really impressed at the performance and handling so ive bought it

power is 358 bhp it weighs 900kg and has 376 lbft of torque so you can guess it goes pretty damm well.

Awesome car i had one with 300 bhp very strong engines great spec great choice

 

I really like these and really fancy a 1.8T VAG at some point.

What gearbox does it run... cause heard that the boxes in these are the weak points and dont like 300lb/ft+ going through them.

Same as golf leon etc, didnt give me a minutes bother even with 100 shot of nos

 

There was a lad up here that ran a 1.8T Ibiza (same colour as this) about 5 years ago and IIRC it was around 270-280bhp & 310-320lb/ft and he did quite a few gearboxes in the time he had it. It was never used on track, but it did have a hard life around the country roads in the area.
