The engines arn't in short supply, and can be had for as little as Ł50 - so if one goes pop, then its no big deal, Ebay will give me a new one
Also they sound the tits

Benni.
A good V8 is good, like a good 4cyl is good, or a good 1cyl is good.
A Rover V8 is none of the above.
Anyhow, we going off topic, Graceys pleased, job done

Stav - I was looking at about 800-900 for a used BMW 6 pot with gearbox and wiring loom etc etc, the Ł500 route was better and more "involved" than a simple bolt in jobby - as you say, I'm pleased

That much for a 325 lump, bloodyhell, fuck that, imagined theyd be almost throwaway money, thats about what you can get a complete car for these days.
As Ford/Chevy small blocks cost under 500 and are cheaper to tune and stronger, im suprised you didnt go there tho. Idve given you my Mustang 5litre V8 for I dunno, 300odd.
Now get a pair of RST T3s on it!
The engine sucks ass in n/a form, but its got one thing going for it, capacity, and turbos dont care how poo the engine is, they give power and will spool up easy with 1.75 litres each.

Dizzy is still there as the drive also drives the oil pump aswell - a bit like on a shonky YB engine
Also the engine is just a standard unit from a Rangerover Discovery - 3500cc and 8.13:1 CR - ready for some MAN boost
Dojj - how many rocks do you live under again?
Rick - Thanking you for that very generous offer - I may well ned your help as I honestly don't know where to start from apart from it has a base map on it
