I would dearly like to post some of my own acheivements and personal
experiences of said mentioned proffesional tuners on this thread but I fear

No offense to any tuner on here but...
I have never met a tuner who
Specs blocks, pistons, inlets, turbos, cams, cranks, headers, ports heads for various engines and maps aside from Karl at nms....
correct me if i am wrong.
Sure that all the big hitters coming up with have NMS bits in there some where

I have an NMS on my MSD engine but upon comparison, the head porting between my head and one of Stu's heads was very similar. The NMS head a slightly more attention to detail though and is a credit to Karl's abillities.

I can think of at least 6 "tuners" who FULLY spec, build and map their own engines.
I will limit this to tuners that have Ford experience that I know of.
(In alphabetical order)
Harvey Gibbs (SCS)
Julian Godfrey (Julian Godfrey Engineering)
Karl Norris (NMS)
Mark Shead (MAD)
Paul Jagdev (PJ Motorsport)
Simon Norris (Norris designs)

I am sure there are many others who can do everthing but stick to there own
field or the one that makes the most money.

personally i think as a business person , if , i was to spec and build engines ( which i do) and then have to map it myself the cost would far out way the money in the job , its simply more costeffective to let my tuner complement my work in the way i know they would !!
