Was in our local the other night to see a mate and a lad was chatting to his mates and was showing off about his 1.8 Vectra

My ears prickde up at this and the lad was saying how he'd been offered 2 top of the range HSK turbo's for a grand. One of the guys with us told him they wouldn't go straight on his car (half playing along with him). The lad said he was getting a V6 Vectra lump to go in as when you chip them you get 280bhp and then with these twin turbo's he'd have 350bhp.

Best bit was he reckoned this was all going to cost him £3k including the cost of buying the engine and turbo's

sure his 1.8 Vectra ain't rapid enough?.. one of my cousins boyfriends has one and he reckons he could have whipped my Civic VTi with it..

 

I spose at that age owning a car with a 1.8 engine is a big deal. I assume this as he dropped 1.8 in at every other sentence

 

 

little 16 year olds with there mopeds are even better down my way local lad is dead serious when he recons his niftey fifty would out corner and out break my westfield! im trying to get him to put money on it before i prove him wrong

its only cause these lads have never been in anything fast so think there popular 1.1 is a super car
