A few years back i bought a 200 "motorsport" block directly @ cosworth but last nite i saw this id at the back on the block under the turbo: 28 E 99 ?
Guess that´s a turkish block then.......


Maybe that´s why my engine gave up last nite also

 

i think any 200 blocks with '99' are the turkish ones yes..........sorry to hear about your engine, rebuild it and increase the power!

 

yup that sounds like a badly packed kebab block
