assuming the bolts that hold the sunfoor in aren't sized solid (they may be screws but don't quote me on that) you wil have to remove the whole mechanism and replace like for like
you need to make sure it's from a seirra and the slines are the same, although a lot of the other cars look the same (and indeed i think most cars of that era in the ford range shared the same glass) the mechanisms are different, so you can't fit a granada one in as the stub is too short, etc, etc

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
Remove the complete mechanism mate because I can guarantee that at least two of the six screws that hold the glass frame to the slider mechanism will be totally corroded, it makes it a lot easier to get some leverage on the screws to remove them with it out, plenty of WD40 and be careful not to damage the plastic part that they screw into the threaded bush has a tendency to crack the plastic or just spin loose.
Good luck!
(Glass is still available new but mechanism is not )

The six screws that hold the glass are usually seized, just use a dremel grind the heads off, or drill off as I did.
When refitting use SS cap heads, washers and with coppaslip.
ALL mk2 sierra sunroof glass the same, ie estate/4 dr/5dr.
