Cover versions
your Good, Bad and Ugly please when i mean bad and ugly, i mean bad and terrible versions of originals that you like
Good:
Live & Let Die - Gn'R / Wings
Valerie - Ronson & Whitehouse / The Zutons
Good Riddance - Glen Campbell / Green Day
I just Don't Know What To Do With Myself - White Stripes / Dusty Springfield
Bette Davis Eyes - Kim Carnes / Jackie De Shannon
Could It Be Magic - Take That / Barry Manilow
Everything from Hayseed Dixie - Bluegrass covers of AC/DC and other Rock
Although not strictly cover versions, anything by Weird Al Yankovich is brilliant, especially Eat It (Michael Jackson's Beat It), and Armish Paradise (Coolio's Gangsta Paradise, itself a sample of Stevie Wonder's Pastime Paradise)
Bad:
Don't Leave Me This Way - The Communards / Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes
Downtown - Emma Bunton / Petula Clark
Ugly:
The Boys Of Summer - DJ Sammy / Don Henley
Can't Help Falling in Love - UB40 / Elvis Presley
Common People - William Shatner / Pulp
To help you out, maybe have a look here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...r_versions_A-M

I've got loads more, but let's have a look at your musical 'taste'

Most of the stuff off Ronsons album "Versions" is good, in particular "Apply Some Pressure" and "Stop me".......
Also The Last Shadow Puppets album is good, i think thats mostly/all covers!

They are awesome cover versions, there's not enough space on the internet to list all the bad ones
Just a few as there's too many to list.
Jimi hendrix - all along the watchtower (bob dylan)
Led Zep - in my time of dying (by unknown, blues song goes back to the early 1920's, covered by loads of artists)
Nirvana - where did you sleep last night (same as above, but made popular by Leadbelly)
Cream - Crossroads (original by Robert Johnson, 1930's blues artist, considered to be one of if not the best.)
As for the bad/ugly, most of the shit thats on the radio these days, its all either cover versions or "samples" and its all garbage.
