Default Massive thanks to porkie (again)!

He pulled some strings for us make sure we got on the track evening at bedford today. so off we trotted, me cossierich and chip...

drove there

drove round

drove back

zero drama, muchos FUN

thanks lee, really made our weeks that one i think

i think we've work out what 3 blokes sharing an M3 for an evening trackday is probably THE BEST way to do it. everyone gets to do just about as much driving as they'd like and the car doesnt complain and want a rest. everytime i get bored of my a day like today happens and i FOOKIN LOVE IT again.

Thanks to both Porkie, and of course Jim for lending me the car to drive, fantastic bit of kit, really was perfect for just a pleasant evening out, not mentalist quick or anything, but quick enough to enjoy, handling nicely at the moment, and comfy up and back too

Top evening, on a great track, with 2 good mates, in a nice car, fantastic stuff considering it wasnt even planned till 1pm!

We worked out the total cost, and excluding any wear and tear, it was 300 quid, so basically 100 quid ish each, although me and Rich paid more because it was jim's wear and tear, but for 100ish quid I really cant think of much better to do for an afternoon/evening

Awesome afternoon and evening. Fun started with trying to get our arses there on time. naturally we were late but no drama.

Had such fun driving the M3. Jims car is great to drive. 3 blokes, 2 crahs helmets and one sorted M3 = much fun

Thanks to Jim for letting us use his car. Thanks to chip for some spirited laps and thanks to Lee for sorting it.

3 good mates and 1 track seesion is awesome

If it wasnt for running late, I never would have driven it hard down all those lanes, and would have been happy to just be a passenger, so im actually glad we ran late, as I had no intention of driving on track till I started putting my foot down to get us there and ended up enjoying hussling it along, lol

Yeah, it was awesome of Lee getting us on when they were technically fully booked, no way any of us had the blagging power with palmer sport to manage that one, lol

LOL, he does take changing speeds pretty seriously, if he needs to get from 80-90mph, why use part throttle when you can use all 300 odd horses for a couple of seconds instead, I thought the accelerator had been swapped for an on/off switch or something

Sorry mate, only found out at 1 or 2 pm I was going, was all very last minute, in fact so much so we were half an hour too late for the briefing and had to have our own one, lol (not a problem sirs, any friends of lee mannings are friends of palmer sports.... )

Will try and communicate more next time as hopefully we'll plan it a bit more.

Definately going back for anothe evenign session, was really awesome, you are SO lucky having that track on your doorstep!

No mate, an m3 engine, if it was a pinto it would have been so fast we would have travelled back in time and had ages to meet up with you for a drink first
