Here's the bumph ..
"Coast to Coast"
Los Angeles to Miami!
Dear Gumballers
[FONT='Times New Roman','serif']With the 2008 event almost upon us, we're ready to announce the route for
2009. Following this years 'around the world' extravaganza, for 2009 we have
decided to put on a classic "coast to coast" road trip, driving from sea to
shining sea, from the Pacific to the Atlantic, from Los Angeles to the
partying capital of the world, Miami!
With key check-points and parties on route in Las Vegas, Santa Fe, Dallas,
and New Orleans, the 2009 event will combine automobiles with music, film,
and entertainment throughout the 3000 miles, closing the streets in each
city to create a Gumball festival!
It will be 6 years since the Gumball last fully took place within the US;
and since then Gumball has grown considerably.
"It's going to be exciting to bring it back to the States - we're going to
put on a show that no one will forget, kicking off with a pre-rally party at
our LA home from home, the Playboy Mansion!" Maximillion Cooper

I would probably have a kompressor instead too
Although saying that, seeing the Cos in it last time was amazing, would love to see it again!
I thought everybody turned on the Gumball after somebody was killed on the last one?

Are you legally allowed to bring the Escort to the US?
I know there are crazy import laws here and if you bring in a vehicle it has to be over 20 years old but if the vehicle isn’t going to stay in the US I’m not sure where you would stand. It may be worth just checking up on.
If you do make it over good luck and could you bring me over some jaffa cakes as you can’t get them here.

to be fair he works for hes cash anyone can do ANYTHING they wish,,,,, just set a goal and go for it,,,,, 22k may seem alot for us poor people,,,,,, but for a person who owns hes own business,,, it may not be as much on the whole
some people by cars for 100k to park in the garage
if i can afford to do what ever i wish with a family then id do it also,,,, though would i FUCK pay 22k on a holiday,,,,,, then have to actually DRIVE there AND buy the fuel
but i do enjoy watching others who do choose to

Like has already been said, I bet your missus said the same..."you can go, but don't brake anything this time!"
Good luck Martin, hope it goes down well. I bet an EsCos will be more popular than a crummy Ferrari in the States
