dont you just hate it.......
when you decide to do something, then cant make your mind up what you REALLY want to do....
for instance;
i have recently bought a nice 52 plate x5 sport,my mrs loves it and my little girl loves it-i like it too.
BUT,i have got the r33 skyline,my m3 track car and my flint grey sapphire cosworth that no-one seems to want to buy(amongst my other cars for sale as well!).
last night,simple-keep the x5,sell the skyline, keep the m3,either break the cossie or keep it and modify it more.after driving the cossie last night the latter was becoming favourable.
so i get the liner out of the garage today to give it a clean-and now after driving it again i want to keep that as well!!!!so now its sell/break the cossie and sell the x5,and keep the liner and the m3.
i think its-keep the m3 and just advertise everthing else.
i know all this means nothing as next month ill prob have none of the above-apart from the track car,but may as well have a whinge while its hot!

i just love cars and sometimes make a living from them-beats working for someone else.im like a big kid,i see something and i want it,then when i get it i want something else etc etc
i really wish i could detatch myself from this way of thinking-as i may make some money then.i have a pal in the trade who knows nothing about cars and rings me on a daily basis for advice on cars he has been offered etc-due to his very good connections he makes a very good living-but has no interest in cars whatsoever.

surely buying and selling alot of cars is what he does???
Staffi has NO excuse though
I'd keep the M3 and the X5 personally. reliable and fast track toy and a reliable and nice road car that the mrs likes.

Drive them until they are sold, I would have kept the 3 door if you were going to keep one. There will always be more of the cars you like around, and everything has a price. Plus it's nice to try lots of different cars .. Only thing I would definatly fuck-off is the X5 as they are just repulsive

Lee l think you are miss understanding me, l know he is a buisness man/trader my comment is meant that he buys cars to sell then hoardes them for himself and not sell them, hence Jay's comment about making no money
Jay got my point

the days when i had one car and only one car to play with/drive were so much easier.those days i had a list of cars i would like to own/drive,nowadays that list is virtually complete in the cars up to 20k category.

yes, when i first began to buy/sell cars it was because whatever i had for myself, someone else always wanted to buy at a profit so off it went...and that way of thinking worked for me for a long time(and still does to a point).
i just love driving different cars.rightly or wrongly im not in the job to make a fortune, just to be able to live happily and do something i enjoy.
i would say to be honest over 50%of my cars i sell i just recoup my costs-no profit.maybe i need a manager!

you like cars. you buy and sell them and get to drive and experience some cool cars and certainly never LOOSE money and sometimes make money.
Wish I could say the same!!! and I bet LOTS of people on here do!
I can't see what the problem is... and all these posts just drum up a little extra interest in what current interesting cars you have for sale....No harm at all in that fella
Mike. I DO understand mate
he is not a hoarder at all! I don't think he owns one car that he has had for more than 6 months???

i must have had the m3 track car for 6 months now surely........
seriously,i enjoy what i do.i know i dont make as much money as i really should and maybe one day ill get a grip of myself.
im pretty sure a set up here in warrington that sells performance parts, has the facilities to fit the parts, etc would work well here, and i would love it.also getting cars ready for trackdays,4 wheel alignments,brake/suspension/tyre upgrades, etc
i have the unit/workshop-just seem too busy with just the car sales to set it up and get it rolling.
