Ford Escort convertible mk3 & mk4. "Turbo Models"

Does anyone know if Ford manufactured Ford Escort convertibles mk3 & mk4 with an original turbo version engine? ie same engine as series 1 or series 2 rs turbo.

not with the engine as far as i know, but im sure they did ones with the kits and interiors

nope, there were some specials with s1 and s2 bodykits and wheels etc like the mk3 se cabrio and the mk4 all blue cabrio but they had xr3i engines

Ford never did the Turbo CVH engine in a cabriolet as a production run, they did the kit on a few limited edition models but that's it

The turbo cabby is the car ford should have built, you can tell that by the numbers of them that are about imho, the public wanted the product
