i would have thought a little give in the rear would be better suited to yours euan.
i had mine quite hard on the front then toe'd out to combat the understear, not a good idea to toe out when you do topspeed tho.
never did any realy high speeds when i had it toe out but i've heard it makes them unstable.
to sum up tho imo a little softer at the rear to get the power down.

I used to love the handling of my car, it was set up standard and was super stable in all condtions although it did understeer badly when pushed hard.
I got some ahmed springs a while ago and got track spec rears and road spec fronts.
I know the car needs tracked but its very unstable thru long high speed sweepers and wanders on slight direction changes at high speeds.
If i go round and round a roundabout the back comes round like I have pulled the handbrake?
I just want the ld predictable car back!

deffo get the tracking sorted first euan then go from there as tracking being out could defo make it do what your saying.
at least then you know thats correct and can go from there

stiffer rear will make it oversteer more, sounds like you want less.
is it lowered a lot on the stock beam? as they toe out to fuck, which is shite for handling.

depends, round bends, for launching, which aspect do you want to optimise? its always a compromise, and not a nice one because fords rear beam design is such a shonky pile of shite
