Default Slow punctures, can they be repaired?

I heard they can be repaired if the puncture is not on sidewall?

Its a slow puncture I guess as I pumped it up on Thurs last week and its back flat (ish) again now, really dont want to buy another tyre as the same one went (properly that time!) in Jan this year!

Any help gratefully appreciated
