Default cossie is breaking down/missing over 4k?????

any idears people? Its fine in 1st and 2nd but in 3rd once you get to over 4k it starts breaking down sometimes has clear spots if you keep your foot in but normally starts to miss pop and bang?

any idears appreciated

Boost cut due to being loaded up more in 4th and 5th?

happened on my car before and found it to be the cps.one of the bolts had come out and had moved away from the teeth slightly.
i juts out a new bolt in and was sorted but could be that yours is faulty and doing the same thing?

you sure its not over boosting Dan? sound possible as its doing it when loaded up.. maybe worth winding the actuator back a turn and see if it cures it

i'l put a boost gauge on it and check the boost. I'l also gap the cps. I'l let u know how it goes

Have you checked the phase sensor also??

i had similar it turned out to be plug gaps on new plugs were incorrect.... have you changed your plugs recently?

yes mate about 500 miles ago when it was rebuilt
