Nasty, glad you're ok though.

Is that the courtesy car? They're going to love you!

Hope the German women makes a recovery too, though that looks bad

easily done in a foreign country, or even your own country if you live abroad

modern cars are now so good at crash protection thanks to their engineering efforts

Just a thought... do/did those seat covers go over the side airbags?!?!

Hope not - so few people realise there are air bags IN the seats on modern cars.

One thing you dont think about when your trying to keep your seats clean
I know one thing the seat moved forward as if it slipped on its runners
It also twisted to the side towards the gearstick
I wouldnt have thought the seatbelt pre tensioners would have twisted the seat
Going to get the diesel out of it tommorow as it was full ,

Glad your ok mate, Hope the lady makes a full recovery. Her car does look so smashed to bits though. It is totally mullered. Mondeo looks like it stood up VERY well.

Be interested to know the Euro Ncap results for the cars involved.

fookin ell mate, glad ur here to tell the tale, could have been a LOT worse.

Hope the other lady is ok, had she been drinking or anything like that as its unusual for women to overtake, let alone on a bend.
