well been on the hunt today and i tracked another mk2 today lol, not as good as the first one but still good in all the right place's it needs a blastas it's been part prept for paint and the left to go rusty it looks worse then it is to be fair nothing a blast wont sort out. there is a small hole on the dome but the floors and cills are good strut tops are good as are wing rails boot floor, just a bit on the lower rear 1/4 below the tank other than that is solid and again never had any welder near it .and it runs pmsl so thats 2 now and within 10 mins of home lol. you'v gota love the aussies lol this one cost me $500. i'v got a chap who will blast them for me with nut shells he reckons it will not damage the panels i think the rusty one can go first

forgot to mention they both have a plate on the drivers side it go's from the chassie to the sill i will go take some piccs it looks factory and they are both the same it looks to be some sort of gaurd fitted i'v never seen it on uk cars so must be an oz thing

yea i need to find another 2 so i can ship them back to the uk as shells. i know of a few more but this one turned up out of the blue so to speak i still have to go look at a few more 1 mk2 and 2 mk1's if they are any good i will buy and ship the lot back to the uk. ding dong want's one and he has the pick when they land, other than that anyone can have one at the right price lol

the last one is not bad i will have it blasted and primed but the first was a real good find lol and only $200 so cheaper than the last one as well but at Ł400 the pair they are cheap as fook lol

A mint 2 door blasted and primered shell is probably worth around Ł2000-3000 to the right person maybe even more to some rally slags.

Now my maths aint brilliant but thats got to be around $5000-7500 aussie dollars a piece.

i know of a mk1 2dr tina the bloke calls it an airflow i don't know how good it is but gota be worth a look lol, so mk2 vans worth much there are a few about. also a 4dr rs 2000 not a fake but the real deal. i havent seen one in the uk but a few about over here lol be differnet by a 4dr from oz
