Are there any dyno runs for the Reyland cars
The cars came up in coversation on the Audi forum I used and I mentioned Porkies old car (Patrick) and that it was 600bhp and 4x4. I then got a load of abuse of a board user who accused me of lying and not doing my research before lying.
Would love to post a dyno plot for the cars to wipe the smug grin from his face

I can dispense with one muppet with the right ammo. I also use the board a lot so don't want to start a PF invasion or might not be allowed back.
Yeti -Ithought Porkies had been proven at 609bhp?

cheers mate.
The post went a bit off topic seeing as we were discussing Porsches, I mentioned I knew somebody who owned a 996 Turbo and Boxster and really rated the Boxster and owned a big power Cossie. And it all went downhill from there

Was probably making a bit more than that to be honest... I BOTTLED it when it was on dyno and told Mart and Harvey to stop at just over 7500rpm as you can see... and the power was still going up! over 600bhp seemed such a huge number at the time! seems a bit puny now hahaha
we rev'd it to 8300rpm in the car!

And in case he tries to discredit it due to the disparity with the figure on the screen compared to the peak figure on the dyno sheet, as you can see from the sheet, this is corrected power, where as the figure on the screen is uncorrected (for atmospheric temperature and pressure) .

As Porkie said, at the time we bottled it at 7500rpm, but at 8,000rpm it would have been making more.
To quote Harvey (as best I remember) on the day after we asked him whether we should stop or carry on "over 600bhp on pump fuel is kind of taking the piss!"
Got to remember that was well over 4 years ago!

Edit to add - id be quite interested to know what it made once changed to the GT30 - thats if there ever was a dyno run.
i know Lee and also Warren enjoy(ed) there cars that much more once they down sized the turbo.

"Thats not strictly a road car though is it, undrivable still springs to mind."

It's been driven to every single event or track day it's ever attended, including the Time Attack series last year and two trips to the Nürburgring.
So he's right, it's not really a road car
