hi guys! not been on this for a while but i need some help! ive got a mk4 xr3i and recently the oil cap on the rocker cover has been lifting and coming off while ive been driving? when the car is ticking over its like its sucking through the oil breather pipe thats attatched onto the air box and there has been a collection of oil in the air box too! any ideas as to what could be wrong? ive heard about the pressure build up on xr3i's but not the cap blowing off whilst being driven? if anyone has any answers its always very appreciated! cheers!

you need to give all the breather pipes a proper good cleanout as a first point of call then report back
