I dunno why you'd even consider this mate... you're borrowing 5k from the bank and want to invest it, surely, you're going to have to find something that will cover the interest on the loan AND give a reasonable return to justify it.

I dunno how you're gonna manage it to be honest. If you had 5k kicking about in an account that you could throw at a project/idea then it would be totally different, but as you dont have the 5k I dont think this is a sensible idea.

Cheers,
Grant

Get a part time job mate.. When i first passed my test and was doing my apprentaship, i wanted a set of coilovers and ronal turbos for my dub, so got a job at dominos pizza and within a couple of months managed to save up the grand needed for everything.. Dont risk your loan money just get a part time job,, the best thing is its risk free!

IMHO just get the stuff paid so you don't have it on your head! What would happen if you don't get the money back before the end of the month your screwed its just not worth it and gamling with money that you've borrowed is never good!!

buying cars vans caravans motorhomes etc at the mo is difficult as the jobs gone very hard if you are trying to turn a profit even if your doing finance.

if you want to earn money get a transit recovery and do scrap, if its metal it will scrap, put a wanted ad in your local paper, supermarket, post office etc.

I think you should spend the 5k on three number plates from me: CO57 LOT, AW57OME and LO54 YOU. Find the right buyers at the right price and you could be looking at a tidy profit!

Here's a lower risk option for you to make some money: sell one of my plates for me and I pay you 10% of the sale price. Here are some guide prices:
FA52 CAR - 5k
CO57 LOT - 3k
D2RTY - 5k
D8EAM - 10k
LO54 YOU - 1k
H8T BM - 2.5k
AW57OME - 2.5k

How much did something like "AW57OME" cost you to register?

First rule in investment is not to borrow money to invest ! The only exception is property.

Penny shares - colleague of mine re-mortgaged is house to raise £40K after being given a tip-off. Bought £40K's worth of penny shares - now worth nothing at all...

Buying a car and speculating (correct spelling), you may well end up paying more interest on the 56K loan than you would make up selling the car on

Whatever you do, don't invest any money you are not prepared to loose.

get the 5K loan, go out, find some half decent looking prozzies, film them doing all kinds of foul shit - get a mate to knock up a website for a couple of quid - stick the video's online and then charge a subscription to see the vids.....

I think what the guys sayin is that the loan is coming regardless of this, and will be payed back including the intrest regardless of this.

So forget the interest on the loan etc cos he's already accepted that when he decided to consolidate his debts & get this loan.

Before he consolidates his debts tho, he'd like to see if he could use the money in some way to make a little bit of money, don't really matter how much profit he makes, anything will do within reason !!

jb

P.s.

Renton, lovin the plates !!
