Propa f**ked off right now,

Was on way home last night & through one of the many puddles I went through I hit a f**kin pot hole & cracked one of me RL7's ! ! !

I'm gonna go back & take photo's of it once the waters gone & "try" get the cost of the repair back from the council but I wont hold my breathe & know this'll take months of arguing with em !

But in the mean time that leaves me wheel less, so does anyone know who can repair a mag wheel ?? It's cracked on the inside & one of the spokes !

Money isn't in an abundance at the mo, otherwise I'd jus get a set of Comp 5 spokes off Martin so stuck with tryin to repair this thing !

Help peeps, PLEASE !

iain jamison is the bloke who repaired mine if that helps

he wont do it if the spokes are cracked though

i know as he done mine before,,,, hes work is generally shite anyway if that makes you feel any better,,,,, i could balance mine due to the BLOB it fitted to the wheel so had to go o the rear with LOADS of wheel weights to help sort of balance it a little

maybe ask marco if he knows of any as hes a good one to source em

Once there cracked...bin them. Mine are going the tip after National Day.

 

dam it and just to think a did have a spare rl7 wheel et25 when i had my set but sold that last year.

Speak to all the wheel refurbishers and ask them if they can do it or know someone who can. Lepsons or Spit and Polish are the closest I know of... Where did ya hit the pot hole??

 

Try steve scott @ A1 rallysport, he's gotta have a single wheel you could purchase.?

i seem one for sale in wheels for sale room. I sold it him. Its in good nick. Also click link in my sig. They did mine.

 

After trying absolutely everywhere to get the thing repaired I've finially found a solution ! ! ! (<-- real tears)

A good friend of mine has ONE ! He used to have loads, but slowly over the years has let them go in one way or another & has ONE left !

He's 99% sure it's 8x17 & ET25 but will double check later !

Thank god for that ! Absolutely love these rims & there's only one other set of 17's (well 2 actually ) I'd have on my car (Comp mo 5 spoke or the new Escort Cossie rims if they did 17 ), wouldn't go 18 cos tyre prices & 16's are a no go cos the 330 4 pot AP's !

So a little happier now & see you boys at the Essex meet tonight, might be a little late cos stooopid probation !
