what can make my car overfuel on cylinder 3?

all other cylinders are fine, but 3 always has a wet plug, and now engine is apart, the valves and piston are shiney clean, washed by the look of it.

no misfire.

swapped injector,no change, compression was dead even across the lot.

any possible ecu faults?

loom is new mark,

and yes the old engine had an issue like this.

the chip is all wrong for my spec at the mo, but i wanted it to run ok, before i booked the live map

it may be a different issue, but wondered if i should get the ecu checked over, i cant work out why its rich on 3?even with the other problems

new genuine swedish plenum, and new aeromotive reg,

engine has only ran 20mins,

its stripped again now due to piston issue, but this borewash is clearly visable already

Bummer mate - you have been rather unlucky with this particular type of problem.

Can't offer any constructive advice to be honest, waaay out of my league!

have you pulled the injectors out (still connected to the rail and loom, and pointing into a tub) and turned the engine over and seen if no3 is pulsing or permanently open.? i had this happen due to a short when i had a dodgy loom.
