I was only mildly soaked as we left - had to swap wheels over as the A048s were borderline at the start of the day... got drenched

I was talking to the owner of the oak green one as i had one before my cossie. they are running 2 litre engines on throttle bodies. the blue one has 240 bhp and the oak green has the same engine. All on different gearing though so it was hard to tell who had the quikest one. Great cars. Nice to see you Si

Good to see you too! Shame we never landed on track when you and Jim were out, the M3 seemed to fly down the main straight where I saw it on track
When are we going to see your Cos on track then?

Deffo didn't seem standard! Although they looked pretty subtle which was probably the coolest thing about them!

Just need to find a local bloke with a custard coloured non Cossie (on the logbook only) sierra to help install it.
Could be interesting to see just how much of a difference that makes - as long as I'm in front that will suit me!

Great day at Combe yesterday the MAESTRO held up well, we did 5-6 sessions pulling 5500rpm in 5th out of camp, we managed a few good lap times.
A few people were upset at ben overtaken by a 20 year old Maestro but it was all in good fun, we did get a couple of funny looks from a couple of cossies as we went past them, we also got a funny look of the Saxo which we lapped within 6.5 laps.
It was reved to 7K all day long and managed a massive 4.5 Miles Per Gallon, AFRs of 11.5 from 3K but upto 3K were in the 9s.
We were also spitting flames apparently, and we did a few people say 'what the fuck'
So thanks for a great day, it was awesome awesome last session with Loaders saff with a Maestro pinned to its arse for 5 laps, loader was proper hanging the sapph.
Favourite moment of the day was chasing Brett in is Mk2 Escort, he did a 1.21, but its not so much the time its his awesome car control just sweeping the back end through corner after corner

i remember seeing you in the morning, you were following us, infact on that session i think we both overtook everything else.

I only timed about 3 laps, we did do a 1:22 on one of them i timed

Yes I think we did I normally have a camara in to see what times I was doing but didnt yesterday, Im usually 1.23, its always interesting to know what other people are doing.
Mine is around 175 bhp (150 atw) 2 litre 16v with carbs and 910 kg with a full tank of fuel without me in it, I need to do some weight saving on mine, would love it to be down to 800kgs like yours.
Have you driven combe before?

An old Wizards of Nos Streetblaster kit is sat in my garage as it happens....
Just need to find a local bloke with a custard coloured non Cossie (on the logbook only) sierra to help install it.
Could be interesting to see just how much of a difference that makes - as long as I'm in front that will suit me!
