Default my turbo days or over..evo,s sold

hello all my time with turbo cars looks like its over!! after well over 12 years with my erst and my mint frst after nearly 2 years with my beloved evo time has been called!!! and got to say i loved them all but probaly loved my erst the best!!!
i guy from nottingham came to look at my 1995 evo 3 and has left a deposit and im delivering it to him in the morning!!! sold her for just £4100 the thing is all cars or alot cheaper now and i think its gona get harder to sell evo,s cozzys erst... all high performance cars needing the shell garage every other day,,, and look at the state of the prices of scoobs, fook me there giving them away but i think thats cus theres to many on the roads unlike cozzys and evo,s i even had a guy email me asking me if i wanted to part exhange with his imprezza 5 years younger than mine and cash, but at the end of the day at the moment its just to expensive to run a performance car and now have my boring but fatastic focus tdci doing 700 miles on a tank..
you never now in a few years if funds get better i would still pick e evo 5 or 6 as my all round best car but for now its goodbye

How the hell are you getting 700 miles to a tank in a tdci focus?

Ive had two and struggled to get much more than 400?

it'll be a matter of weeks until you see something tasty at the lights and you''ll think "if only i had my evo" - then you'll want one again

I ran a brand new one for 3 years and 80k miles and just recently had another for a month or so there and both did those miles to a tank. Averaging 40mpg ish..... You talking about the 1.8 115hp?

I'm not particularly gentle on cars but i aint that bad!!!

You must drive like a granny then!

It would be possible, but you would need to return an AVERAGE of 57mpg....... i.e. don't accelerate hard AND change gear at each 1500rpm AND stick to the speed limit AND only travel on a good run (i.e. not round town). Oh... and bleed the tank dry!!

I bought a new shape mondeo last year (2ltr TDCi - 138bhp). I can manage an average of 53mpg...... but it's flaming hard!
