gangster movies
apart from the likes of the godfather trilogy, goodfella's, scarface, once upon a time in america, casino, the departed, untouchables, etc, are there any other "must see" gangster flicks in the same sort of style?
getting a bit bored with buying dvd's to add to the nearly 11 metres of dvd shelving i've filled

The Departed.
The Untouchables.
Gangs of New York.
Road to Perdition.
Miller's Crossing.
Mean Streets.
Casino.
White Heat.
Carlito's Way.
I've probably left out a few. I didn't include the ones already listed of course

yup, but not too keen on it
good roles to play but it never hooked me the way that some other movies have
"don" is the man got gangtsa no1 but not seen it yet, and the limey is that one with general zod in the lead role yes?
didn't like that at all
too much background and not enough killing people in the streets in cold blood after being dissed in a restraunt for my liking
classic
mixed reviews, want to make sure it's good before spending time watching it and then finding out it's not as good as it shoud have been (revolver) or a missed out gem (smokin' aces)
is that like king of new york with christopher walken?
a more polished lock stock i though
keep em coming boys, i've got a few weeks to get them ready, then i've got 3 weeks worth of free time to watch them

Thought Donnie Brasco was a stunning film. Must admit I agree it did take a little to get into it though.
Gangster no.1 is superb too, and Rise of the Footsoilder is a great great film.
Just borrowed rollin' with the nines which is supposed to be quite good.

starts off good, then gets a bit so-so, they gets a bit bonkers, fairly gritty and, to be honest, scarily realstic of what can happen without the glorified oundertones of the mafiosa style american flicks
enjoyable, if a little less convoluted than lock stock, which made it just as enjoyable, but far less taxing on the old noggin
keep 'em coming lads, and yes, i do "buy" dvd's, much cheaper at a pound a pop at the market stall if i know what i'm looking for rather than buying stuff and then thinking "what is this shit?!?!?!?"

Dojj, get yourself "Mafia". Brillant computer game. Already a bit older, so will also run on weaker systems.
It's one of the games that really tell you a story, almost like a film.
