Rod Tarrys Sierra - an awesome achievement in the world of YB
Was talking to a few mates tonight about new cars and performance etc, and decided to hunt for Rod Tarrys website with vids, pics and performance comparisons to other supercars and thought it worth a mention....

Yes Chip, hence the post TBH.
He doesnt get credit for what he's achieved, and looking into his site further only does it become apparent.
Fair play to the old chap for shouting from the highest rooftops about his car, I know I would, and I know 95% of the people on here would too!

The REALLY amazing thing is the top-speed comparisons to the super-cars. Rod's top speed is what he has achieved at Brunters within these distance constraints. There is absolutely NO WAY that the speeds quoted for the other cars could be achieved in the same distance. For example, I believe a Lamborghini Diablo has only achieved 178mph at Brunters in the same distance that Rod has achieved his 206mph. Now THAT puts it into perspective

No my rival at the time was Bruce Reed a bitter battle at the time, but it was a long time ago. If you want to blame someone for this Topspeed caper blame MikeR his old Saff was my inspiration, was at Brunters for his 180.9 & loved the way he did two 180 runs back to back from a standing start. Took the MAD team all day to beat it & I realised that day their was more to it than just Power .

Awsome site! the best part about the fith gear feature, is the fact that Tiff is there in the lotus, full on race suit/helmet etc and Mark steps up in a jacket, drives one handed whilst looking over at a laptop screen!

chip he bloody wishes. rich only makes stanard power cos of misfire when he went on rollers should be 360 horses went home misfire was gone OH DEAR

dave i have got some funny stories to tell about Q like when he took his wheel off and said the brakes are fucked cos the disc is moving around wot a PRAT and this is day before track day
