A standard diff will cope with that power Roosie.

Bara will do you a diff, A Gripper, or theres the Quaife ATB option. Not sure on the price of the Bara unit as its a while since i asked Marco. I think the Quaife works out to be around the Ł1k mark and a Gripper around the same.

As above Bara - PM Marco Polo with your requirements and the good man will sort you out

I had one of his rear diffs on my 4*4 476 bhp Cos with no dramas.

hi mate

if your not going to launch your car too much , then go for the uprated VC with uprated planet gears

the VC us uprated to 240Nm on the standard plates which is nearly 10 times more pre load than the standard item when it was brand new or if you have the nickel plates these can be uprated to 300Nm on the 2wd 7.5" rear diff for better handling /traction

(most cossy 2wd and 4wd VC are shot they have lost most of their viscosity hence one wheel spinning)

if your want to do mad launching then go for a diff that doesn't use planet gears either a plated diff or a quafie atb

even with all these diffs (7.5")you could still possible break the crown wheel and pinion that is still a weak piont due to the size of it and it's still a 7.5 unit

if you really want a fit and forget proper diff that you wont break is the 9" ford motorsport diff these are not cheap

out of all these diffs the best for road freindlest diff is the uprated VC as it was designed to be a road lsd

marco
