Will it have massive amounts of understeer and massive torque steer. Like the vauxhall astra vxr and the Alpha 147 gta

Will in handle like that. Or will it only handle good with some sort of traction control

Such a wasted opportunity to have FWD in it.
Im sure a couple of grand more to the Ł28000 price band with 4wd would see it being hugely popular. With 300bhp as standard, you aint gonna control any more power than that, so modding is out of the question.
Realistically, no matter what electronic gizmos on it, it aint gonna outdrive an STI or Evo X round the track. End of.

The XC70 and the S80 use a 4wd system.
If it was 4wd, Im sure thered be people interested in the RS instead of other 4wd marques, like the EVO, STI etc.
Otherwise theyl stick with a performance car that powers the correct wheels, either the rear ones or all four.

Always a possibility with the right parts and assuming that the focus does indeed have space for the system to be fitted.

The problem is, why would Ford make a 4WD system when they know it would sell instantly even if it was one wheel drive! Put an RS badge on some dog shit and there will be a fight over who gets one.

They are selling cars and making billions a year which is all that matters to them.
There must be a very valid reason they are not making it 4wd.

they could make it one wheel drive with the seats faceing backwards as it has the RS badge on it will see them all so why go to the bother of fitting 4x4
it has always been the way with ford (since they starded on fwd) they make them we make them better

Everybody gets hooked on them being FWD. The last Focus RS proved itself a damn capable car and hopefully the new one will bring more of the same to the party

Do cars properly and they handle. Do cars like most RSTs and RWD Cossies and youd think you need 4wd to go round corners with any power.
