Question Pc help please

can anyone help me?

i've used lime wire for a while and downloaded a program the other day which had a virus attached, it was found and deleted straight away but since then limewire auto opens all the time, if i close it it only opens again! it's driving me mad as it slows the computer right down. Can anyone tell me how to stop this happening?

Advice much appreciated,
Matt.

Uninstall Limewire, run your virus scanner (I hope it's AVG or better) and then reinstall Limewire and learn not to download programs off it, they are riddled with viruses

or go into the options, theres a box to tick and untick if you want limewire to start when the pc boots up, could just be that.
Run your virus scanner as above though

limewire is fine for mp3's if you know what your doing.

I mean loading up a bit torrent and searching a website for one song is abit long winded when limewire can find it and download it in 3mins
