Default Any Electricians on here?

I'm looking into a change of career and want to train as an Electrician, I'm applying to go on a C&G 2330 level 2 and on to a level 3 after that. Any advice where to go from there, should I be looking for a job while doing the level 2 or will I have to wait until both courses are completed?

Any help guys?

Thanks people! If only I owned a Cosworth, I'd probably be fully qualified by now!

Ive done the 2330 courses and i would say about 80 % of the students were already working in the industry. Its not a problem if you are not though.

As people have already said mate the best route to take would be the adult trainee scheme. In most cases you will have to pay for your own college fees but it's a small price to pay as you will get the valuble training 'on site' that you will require.

I will pm you some information that could help you out.

Darren.
