Nice thing is they approached him, in a nutshell (his last 15 years employment history ); he is a mechanic by trade but at 19 went to work in local Renault parts department Bracknell, then Andyspares/GSF as Renault parts product manager, then became Norwich branch manager - the drive became too much so went to a dealership as workshop control/service manager, but the company was a shower of shit, so posted his CV on a couple of automotive recruitment sites, did bit of self employed mechanics - then a recruitment chap was chatting to the Director of Pace at an automotive show and passed J's CV to him, they phoned him up and the rest is history!

I forgot to say he'll be in Sales, not on the engineering side, I'm sure they'd be happy to fix it though?!

I did some work for a guy who works there and he said its a bit of a bugger since GB have taken over. Apparently the new owner is using it as a bit of a cash cow to finance his classic racing business.
