think roughly 2wd loses around 40bhp 4x4 as much as 70/80bhp then of course you get the extra weight etc to take into account

that much bloody hell so if you had a 400bhp 2wd you will need 450-480bhp to keep it

not sure what is needed etc would not imagine u need that much extra as u have to factor in traction at these power levels, but would say u would need 350 odd bhp in a 4x4 to keep with a 300bhp 2wd cossie!but as the power figures get higher i would not know as traction comes into play

In my experiernce a good stage one 2wd can stay with a good stage 3 4x4 on the road.

oh yeah you would prob break it after a couple of times lol but i know you can launch hard in stage 3 and not break traction for long atall.

Yes a stage 1 2wd should stay with a stage 3 4x4,from a modding view the 4x4 was the worst car ever! The 2wd was over engineered the 4x4 caught up.

It's not that simple a question to answer as the faster you go the more the gap widens, ie both have increased drag the faster you go but as there is more drag on a 4be to start with the losses get even futher apart from a 2wd.
