lowering mk1 focus

just recently bought gmax 50mm suspension kit for my focus,problem is the rear is higher than front was told would drop after few weeks but still no change any suggestions what the problem could be would be apreciated.

There shouldn't be any problems, its a simple job of pushing the beam down to take out the rear springs, replacing with lowered one's. Few days and the shocks will settle along with everything else.
Mine was lowered 50mm, it should look something like this...

did you tighten the wishbone and arb bolts with the car in the air? it should only be on with the weight on the cars wheels and the rear at the nominal ride height (ie. car flat). otherwise you preload the bushes and it can affect geometry, apparently....

Are you sure it makes a noticeable difference?
I can't see there being much in the way of a difference personally!
